With the lapse of a 50 year lease for Point Nepean Quarantine Station, a new plan for the site is required.
The draft 2010 Point Nepean National Park Masterplan will be used as a foundation for the new plan, and extensive community consultation will be undertaken on the site's future use, protection and enhancement.
Details of the community consultation process are not yet finalised.
The draft 2010 Masterplan has previously been publicly exhibited, and can be accessed below. The Victorian Government considers the 2010 plan, rather than the 2013 plan, the most appropriate starting platform for consultation as the community were involved in its creation.
